Agenda-
- Take out your writer’s notebook, a pen, and your ROTHMC novel.
- Quick Writing Response and discussion about Bullied.
- Answer comprehension questions for chapters 4 and 5. Click here for the questions: Comprehension Qs ch. 4-5 ROTHMC
- Begin reading and annotating chapter 6 of ROTHMC
**Annotation Requirements: Plot Summary (significant events that occur), Characterization (character traits/personality of the characters), Make Connections- (Text-to-text, text-to-self, text-to-world), Personal Reactions (anything that you have an emotion about), and Significant Questions (do not do yes or no questions or questions that may be answered by the end of the chapter).
Homework-
Vocabulary Unit 2- annotate for main ideas- due Monday.
Read and annotate chapter 6 of ROTHMC due Monday.
BOOK CLUB/Small Group Seminar tomorrow. The Host must bring 4 significant questions for discussion and food is optional. The other members of the group must bring 2 significant questions for discussion. The book club will be on chapters 4-5
Read 40+ pages, due every Monday, of your Independent Reading.
